Oh hi there. I'm Katherine. I’m a Canadian mother to 5 and wife of 14 years to my best friend and soulmate. I live an empowered life and I’d like to share it with you in hopes that you find some strength or power in it for yourself. I’m not afraid to make messes or get my hands dirty and I hope you aren’t either! Trial and error is often how I roll/learn/perfect.

My passion for design and DIY came from a desire to beautify my home and life in ways I could control. I am completely self-taught and believe everyone can learn new skills when given the right opportunity, instruction, and encouragement.

My favourite things are my family of course, and then building furniture, renovating spaces, organizing and doing DIY. I love walking into a room that I made!

I love to share little tricks on how to save money on both products and decor for your home. As a family of 7, every saving counts! My hope is to encourage you to try new things, learn new things, and to flourish where you are at. I’m excited to share this journey with you!
